The centre of the Arch depicts a fierce representation of Mahakala, the God of Time. The diety’s peaceful expression reveals kindness and generosity. The Lord is depicted sitting in the posture of Prayer holding a noose and conch (shankha). The noose draws and binds closely those who cherish Him.
