Description : Rosewood Carved Temple For Home.
The rectangular shaped rose wooden puja mandir is a perfect blend of early Common Era and colonial era that dates back to the ancient times. The mandapam is geometrically arranged in an ascending order that converges on the apex and the pinnacle. The domes or small Vimanas that are placed on each corner of the hexagonal shape bring out the significant beauty in the form that they are placed and show the skill and ability of our artisan to bring out the best in the repetitive patterns as well.
The arch that is carved in the same shape is made in a step like form to add beauty when it adorns the minute floral patterns that fall from the edge and appealing theme emits the richness and delicacy involved in carving it. The arch is designed attractive to catch the first glimpse and hold on to be explored with the floral designs on the arch below the roof and we can see the intricate filigree work on it when it holds the brass bells suspended delicately to jingle to even the slightest blow of the wind which would bring in the ambience of a temple right in your home. The arch is neatly cut in machine and ground in hand to bring out the perfect design flaunting the high qualification of the craftsmen that we employ.
The deity area is backed by a floral form adapted from historical patterns, on one side giving a back rest to the “Moorthy”. The rectangular form of the wooden mandir is designed to provide space for the deity and pooja articles. The area is held tall with the sturdy columns decorated at the top with mythological forms and scriptures from the ancient times as it meets the roof. The bottom portion of the deity area is surrounded by a wooden jaalis beautifully crafted to hold the deity inside that creates a sense of security and stops things falling off during the time of pooja.
The lower portion of the wooden temple is designed and carved to compliment the upper portion with an expertise that sinks and blends in with the style adapted through out. Two drawers that are provided at the bottom to expand the storage spaciously while you store your articles for prayer like wicks, camphor, incense etc. The natural lacquer finish of the temple expresses the talent and devotion of the artisan. This rosewood pooja temple can be placed at homes, hotel lobbies or any space where divinity can be invoked and worshipped.
